Nathan and Mildred Good -- South Boston, VA

(Nathan) Greetings to you through the Lord Jesus. I am Nathan Robert Good, and have the grand privilege of being the husband of the tour mom, Mildred! You will find that she is so easy to love. I live with her, work with her, eat with her, travel with her. It's a wonderful life. Because of how active I was in my mother's womb, my mother thought I must have been leading singing before I was born. My sister and I were known to sing for money at family gatherings when we were young. :-( I've enjoyed leading congregations and choruses at churches, schools, and Bible schools. I like to sing in men's quartets. Through the years we've traveled a lot to hear choral Nathan and Mildredgroups and the King's Heralds quartet. It's such a blessing to be able to sing together as a family as well. I was ordained to the ministry in 1993 and then as bishop in 2000.I serve here in South Boston and at two churches in the Harrisonburg, VA, area. (I get to travel with Mildred a lot!) I'm really looking forward to singing and traveling again in August. Sincerely, Nathan

(Mildred) Hi! I'm the tour mom, and I'll be caring for my little grandchildren Carver and Raquelle so their daddy and mommy can sing. I grew up in a home where we sang a lot. As I matured and thought of a godly husband, one of my ideals was a man that sang. God gave me the desire of my heart when He gave me Nathan! And here was a man that practically breathed music! Good music has always been a part of our home life. Our six children grew up singing and playing instruments. Singing together as a family has been a special privilege. To God be the glory! At this point in my life my days are full with the responsibilities of homemaking, mothering, and being the wife and helpmeet to a man with a busy schedule. Being a grandma gives me much joy. I help out in our family business, Windmill Farm Bake Shop, whenever needed. Teaching Sunday school periodically and relating to the needs of our churches fill in all the empty spots in my days.

Conrad and Naomi Gingerich -- Hartville, OH

Hi everybody! From former Tapestry members, we want to welcome all the new ones. I, Conrad, am a custom cabinet builder and work in a local shop. Naomi keeps busy taking care of our energetic almost-two-year-old son, Christopher. We enjoy trying new restaurants, gourmet coffee, meeting new people and singing! We are looking forward to Tapestry 2005!

Joshua N. and Kimberly Good -- South Boston, VA

Hi everyone, this is Kim for Josh and I. We are looking forward also to the tour in August! We both enjoy singing very much, Josh is a part of a male quartet, Voice of Praise, and they give quite a few programs a month which keeps our weekends busy. We both work at his parents' bakery, Windmill Farm Bake Shop, which is a lot of fun -- we get to be together even when we are at work! We are looking forward to a big life changing event the end of September, the birth of our first baby! We are very excited about it!

Norvan & Jewel Yoder -- South Boston, VA

(Norvan) I am a father and a husband, and those are two of the most fulfilling roles I have in life, although they're not always the easiest. I work at a small print shop called Creative Ink. I thank God for a job that I can enjoy. As you've probably noticed, I'm a Yoder. The name "Yoder" originated from being a yodler, so my musical roots go quite deep. (Please don't ask me to try yodeling, however. :-) ) My family has always loved to sing. When I was twelve I took banjo lessons for one year. I still enjoy playing it occasionally, but my music tastes have changed quite a bit. I took a couple of music classes at Sharon Mennonite Bible Institute, and that was also where I really started learning to enjoy choral singing. I thank God for a voice to praise Him.

(Jewel) Being the wife of my Norv, the mother of our Carver and Raquelle (and a third one on the way!), and a keeper at home, my life is fun, full, and challenging. I have grown up with a love for music and remember Daddy being delighted when he heard my first little-girl alto! Over the years I have had the privilege of singing with various groups for different occasions and I took violin lessons for twelve years. I so much enjoy singing with other lovers of good music. Our August adventure is very exciting to me!

Steve & Delilah Yoder -- Midland, VA

Hi everybody. My wife Delilah and I work together at Choice Books where she is bookstore manager for our Lighthouse Bookstore and I find myself sitting at a desk in the accounting dept. every day. It's not the most glamorous job but I like the work and enjoy working with the people here. I'm currently working toward a degree in accounting and just came off a very stressful past 2 semesters. It feels really good to break away from studying for a while and focus on music. I took part in Mennonite Choral Singers last year which I thoroughly enjoyed and I'm looking forward to touring this summer with Tapestry. I don't have any formal music credentials and certainly feel small in the presence of all you talented folks. I enjoy reading, photography, challenging music, and spending time with my wife. I love God and country and also enjoy a good discussion in politics and current events. I've gone skydiving once but haven't persuaded my wife yet to join me for round two. Maybe after we both turn 50.
